2004-2005 (Apps-23 Goals-0 MoM-10)

Martin has been instrumental in helping to set up this new team for this season. He has taken up a position on the committee as the Asst Manager.

An on off season for The Cat, with the extra responsibility of starting a club and being Asst Manager he found it hard to focus on the pitch for the first few games. Once settled Cats confidence began to grow back and his performances were soon back to the standard he demands from the whole squad. The MoM award went Cats way for his performances in keeping our goals against tally respectable.

2005-2006 (Apps-7 Goals-1 MoM-3)

Martin was promoted to manager with Rob as asst after Ken stepped down as manager. After the struggle of trying to balance playing and managing he decided to step out and give Millsy a chance to prove himself in goal. Martin led the team through to promotion to Div 2 & the Divisional cup semi-final before defeat ended a good run.
Martin started the season in goal and a few further appearances to help keep a steady ship, probably more noticeable for one memorable game on field and getting on the score sheet.

Goalkeeper. Good shot stopper and can take the ball cleanly in the air, too. Has got a good record at keeping clean sheets and saving penalties. Very experienced player to have at the back. Doesn’t really play much now only in emergencies.
